How Simple Is Your Advertise Page?

I had an advertiser email me saying that $50 for a 125×125 square on a sidebar was insane… I completely agreed. Until I found out that he was talking about my advertising page and offered me a much lower amount. I didn’t understand where he had read that.. but then I figured out that my Advertise Page made no sense.

My favourite quote regarding simplicity is:

When a design doesn’t seem to work, ask what should be taken away before asking what’s missing.

So I decided to do a little housecleaning and I think the results are a lot easier to follow.

This post was just a heads-up for your own blog. Is your rates and methods of advertising easy enough to understand so that a complete internet n00b could understand it?

Gee, I never thought of an advertise page. I have a post about the attributes of advertising on a particular blog with a icon pointing to that post, but I can see how setting up a page would have been so much easier.
