Hey thanks for the post on this. I have just started out approx. 3 months ago when I started and 1 month I have had the domain techsta.co.nz . I did a very similar post for alexa ranking as I thought everyone would be keen to know how that happened. I went from 16million to 1million in 1 week ... and the way you have outlined the google pagerank method is very similar. I haven'd done any webpage reviews however. Honestly, I’m not sure how I jumped up to PR4 from PR0 but I’m definitely not complaining. Don’t get me wrong, I still think it’s just a number… but we’ll see if it helps at all.
