Get Some Great TLD Domains For Cheap – .me

I recently came across the .me TLD to be registered for $20/year.

Considering that there are only 100,000 domains registered so far, some GREAT names were still available, and I ended up buying 5 domains. You may be saying, “But they’re not .com domain names!”, that may be true and since you can get on the .me train early, there are still some great domain names out there that are available.

Here is my .me domain portfolio:

SeoPro.me - S.E.O. Firms seem to be popping up all over the internet. Seo.me was taken, so this was the best next thing I could think of. It is 6 letters long and is easy to remember. I think this is my most valuable buy.

BlogPro.me – I actually thought that someone on the internet may be interested in this 7 letter domain name. It is a very short name and is easy to remember.

CasinoPro.me – Online Gambling is very profitable on the internet and more and more services are sprouting up. Again, Easy to remember domains is what I tried to accomplish with this buy. Although not as short as SeoPro, it may be the best one I picked up due to the demand.

DomainPro.me - This could be for a domain name generation service, or a web-design company that offers domain registration. I don’t know how good this one is, we’ll just have to see. :)

ProWebDesign.me – I bought another domain WebDesignPro.me, but I think I’m going to keep that one and redirect it to my web design firm. I can’t decide between the two which I should keep. Any suggestions?

All 5 are listed on Sedo, and hopefully I will get some interested people from that.

You can have your very own .me domain names (I would get as many as you have a budget for).. Toyota.me sold for over $80,000. Godaddy is registering them and seem like the most reliable host to get it from.

Good luck with your domain search! Or if you plan not to buy them, what do you think of the ones I bought?

Aw man! I just checked my first name and it was taken, maybe once I start earning revenue from the web I’ll buy it  (currently not even being used right now – 7 letters).

At $20/year, you had me convinced to take a shot and buy one… until I found out there’s a 2-year minimum.  Oh well.

I don’t think you’ll be able to sell those for much. Prowebdesign is definitely a great buy.
