Today, I’ve searched high and low for high quality icons that make website design and blog design look professional and enhance user experience. I’m going to be posting each set of icons, along with a picture and description of the license requirements.. Don’t worry, they will all be free, and jam packed with quality.

Everaldo’s Crystal Project
1300 amazing icons, I’ve personally used them on this blog on the sidebar, and the footer. These high quality icons are something else.

WeFunction’s Free Icon Set
I’m speechless… These 128 icons are so great, I’d probably be willing to pay a fee for these, but Liam decided to give it away for free. He is selling another icon set, but looking at these, I’d much prefer to use these ones. ![]()

Pinvoke’s Fugue Icon Set
These 1473 icons look nice and there are ones for just about anything that has to do with the internet. I really like the error message icons in the center, very crisp.

Pinvoke’s Diagona Icon Set
Although not as good as the first set, Pinvoke definitely took some time into creating these 400 icons. I’m sure you designers can find a way to use these ones somehow ![]()

WebApper’s Web Application Icon Set
I like the shadow on these 20 high quality icons and it would be quite simple to find a use for these.
License: Creative Commons 3.0 – Requires Linkback
Tango’s Icon Set
There is about 2000 total icons, in different sizes that look professional and could be easily implemented to any web project. Download the “tango-icon-theme-0.8.90.tar.gz” file and the icons will be inside.
License: I couldn’t find one, but I’d just linkback to give credit. After all, it look like it took a while to make!
Dryicons.com’s Coquette Icon Set
These icons are very matte, almost have a blurred effect, but look very calm and soothing nevertheless.
License – I don’t really get the difference between the “Free” and the “Commercial” aspects of the license.. so I think you should read it for yourself. (In the free version, it says you can use it for commercial projects..?)
FastIcon.com’s Web 2.0 Social Icon Set
Now they look pretty slick, and can be applied to almost any blog or website!
License: None Available
FastIcon.com’s Circular Web 2.0 Social Icon Set
If the ones above weren’t enough for you, check out these circular ones! Nice. Facticon’s really made a name for themselves when it comes to high quality icons.

Monofactor’s Free Vector Icon Set
Simple, yet elegant. I really like that dollar sign icon, which might help me with my new project that I’m working on… ![]()
License: Free for personal use, $50 for commercial use. (CC License)
Chris Ivarson’s “Goodies” (Icon Set)
These are the best app icons I have ever seen before, Chris, You are a magician. These high quality icons are simply something else.
License: None Available, but comon guys, give this guy a link! He deserves it.
Starfish Web Consulting’s Free Ecommerce Icons Set
Now, I know I can find a use for these in my upcoming project, but these look absolutely great. It’s even got a chili in there for the “RED HOT DEALS” – lol!

Titan Icons Ecommerce Icons Set
Well, theres only 3, but they are nice for checkout areas.. too bad there isn’t a paypal one!

Nice compilation thanks. The problem with icons is that too often in one set you’ll find one maybe two worthwile icons. It’s hard to find the whole set that you’d like.
Great list of icons. These icons are really helpful for blog and website. I bookmarking it and share with my business community.
Having icons within your site, especially, between articles or titles, is very useful. Maybe even to a point where you need to have it.
If you do not find any here, if you Google website icons, there you have it.
And if they need some work, use Photoshop.
