Usually when you purchase webhosting, your webhost allows you to create sub-domains off of your initial domain name. An example of this would be http://fun.bradblogging.com which is my “Fun” part of the website. But the question remains…Could you turn these sub-domains into a small income?
Personally, I am testing out my sub domain to see if I can even make a couple dollars off of it. So far, I haven’t made a cent! Obviously you would have to update it occasionally to keep the readers interested or else no one would come. Below are some strategies to gain some quick cash by creating sub-domains:
- Pick a LOW amount of competition in keywords.
- Make your articles interesting that could be used for references in the future.
- Don’t overload and make it obvious that you are trying to make money..Use ads sparingly
- Choose a good (coloured) design, whether you install wordpress and use a template or just create a website design
- Make the font large so people do not have to squint to read the content
- And Finally, Choose a sub domain with the selected targeted keyword in it.
With the right amount of luck and S.E.O - You CAN appear on Google’s Front Page. Good Luck!
