Bradblogging.com Recommends These Free Online Tools

The internet is full of great applications and useful tools for anyone that wants them. You’ve may of heard of a couple of these tools on the list, but it never hurts to see what others like. Here is a list that I recommend that you use on your blog/website for greater efficiency and more detailed statistics.

Traffic Monitoring:

1st Place: Statcounter - Nothing tracks your visitors, keywords, referring websites, etc better than this free online tool. Only drawback is that it limits the detailed statistics to your last 500 visits, unless you want to pay.

2nd Place: Google Analytics - Run by Google, but can be daunting when reading your stats (There are many different buttons for many different purposes, complicated). For the seasoned internet professional, this would probably be the best way to go.

Referral Link Cloaking:

1st Place: Gocodes (Wordpress Plugin - Free) - Type in the URL you want your gocode generated code to redirect to, and the name. Very handy to make the affiliate links seem more natural, and clickable Sample: http://bradblogging.com/go/bluefur redirects to: http://www.bluefur.com/inbound/go.php?aid=481
