Another way to increase traffic would be to create something that many people would want. This could range from a program, free links, a free website template…Or, something that all bloggers use. They depend on it to separate themselves from everyone else and usually do extensive searching before finding the “Right” one for them. Have you clued in yet?
A proven way to drive traffic to your website/blog is to…create a blog design, otherwise known as a “template”. This has become such a popular thing to create because according to Sifry’s Alerts, who organizes the “state of the blogosphere”, states that:
“As of July 2006, about 175,000 new weblogs were created each day,”
According to that statistic, By creating one (and assumeing that the design was half decent) at least a couple hundred people will come to your downloads area and check out the design. If you are skilled in Web Design, this would be the EASIEST and FASTEST way to generate traffic.

I think participation on a real level with other members of a social network group is also where traffic is more likely to pour from, the more the better.
