AC Milan have had their bid for Nantes rejected by Juventus for teenage defender Nathan Zeze, according to reports in France.
The 19-year-old defender has broken into Nantes’ first-team squad. Making 13 Ligue 1 appearances last season amid reported interest from Premier League clubs.
Latest West France reveals that AC Milan have made an offer to Nantes to consider releasing Zeze from the team. But Les Canaries have rejected the Serie A giants and returned.
The Milanese club have been heavily link with Albert Gudmundsson in recent months but haven’t pulled the trigger on a deal and recently saw their work for Venezia’s Tanner Tessmann collapse. No major sales have been complete, although Valentin Carboni has been link with a move away.
With a contract until mid-2028, Nantes are keen to make full use of the player and the club are reportedly ready to push him to become a key player.
It’s up to Milan to give up, with local media in ยูฟ่าเบท northwestern France estimating that Nantes could have a tough time keeping Zeze if a Premier League team seriously enters the field.
It remains to be seen whether the French-Ivory Coast defender will continue to develop his skills at Nantes or immediately prepare to move on this summer.
